My Way 2 Work’s Vision

Our vision is to change tomorrow’s way of life for individuals who have intellectual and/or physical disabilities!

Our Hands-on Personal Connection

The team at My Way 2 Work knows firsthand about the barriers that exist in achieving a fulfilling life for individuals with disabilities. Our organization started as a mother’s idea after experiencing the reality of just how minimal the opportunities were becoming for her aging son. With her strong-willed dedication and endless drive to give her son the life he deserves, she formed My Way 2 Work, Inc. To ensure her idea would come successful, she carefully selected her team; comprised of passionate advocates, community leaders and other parents like her. Together, My Way 2 Work, Inc is working to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and provide support for their caregivers.

Our Mission

We are here to create an opportunity to serve a new level of needs to those who have intellectual and/ or physical disabilities with an accommodation-based training and work environment to adapt to their needs for a better quality of training, work, and all-around life within their community.

Our History

My Way 2 Work, Inc. was founded in 2023 by Regina Wagoner and was well thought of beforehand. Her children and life challenges gave her the drive to make a path to fit her son's everyday life needs in their community and not wanting her other child to inherit all her brother's needs later in life. Regina recognized the need after numerous observations and advocating for students with disabilities for over 15 years throughout Northwest Indiana. She advocated to state senators and other individuals throughout the country to make changes for those who have disabilities, assisting in establishing SOC Mental Health by-laws in Lake County, coordinated sports activities and events for those who have special needs in three counties, and more. Regina decided it was necessary to continue her education by going back to school and numerous conferences, --all because of Barry, her son, who has special needs himself and for other individuals like Barry. She realized there are many others that have the same challenges with their loved ones with the lack of resources and statistics. This experience all together gave a vision for her family and yours!
